International Principal Guest Artist. Former Cincinnati Ballet and Corella Ballet Principal Dancer and First Soloist with Boston Ballet.
Born and raised in Matanzas, Cuba. Miss. Almeida’s professional training includes the Vocational Art School “Alfonso Perez Isaac” in Matanzas, Cuba, and the National Ballet School in Havana, Cuba. After graduating in 2001 as a professional ballet dancer and teacher, she joined the National Ballet of Cuba under the direction of Alicia Alonso. She is a Gold and Silver medal winner of many international ballet competitions.
Ms. Almeida has been invited to perform as a Principal Guest Artist with Cincinnati Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Florida Classical Ballet, Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, Ballet San Jose, Ballet Met, Festival Ballet of Providence, Ballet Mississippi, Ballet Tech Ohio, Galmont Ballet, Ballet Rosario Suarez, Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet, Collin County Ballet Theater, Northwest Florida Ballet, Colorado Conservatory of Dance, Ballet Concerto de Puerto Rico, Ballet Dortmund (Germany), Balletto Della Opera Di Roma (Italy), Slovene National Opera and Ballet (Slovenia), NBA Ballet (Japan), Miami International Ballet Festival, Baltic Ballet Festival (Latvia), Nureyev Festival in Kazan (Russia), Carreno Festival,Open Dance Festival in Saint Petersburg (Russia), Dance Society of Malaysia, Russian Academy of Ballet,The Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition, Gala de Danza (Mexico), Youth American Grand Prix and many other galas on important stages around the world
Besides being a dancer, Ms. Almeida is the owner, partner, and designer at Adi Dancewear. She truly enjoys designing and creating new dancewear, headpieces, and decorating her own stage costumes.

Giselle Alfonso was born and raised in Matanzas, Cuba. Her professional training includes the Vocational Art School “Alfonso Perez Isaac” in Matanzas, Cuba, and the National Ballet School in Havana, Cuba. After graduating in 2001 as a professional ballet dancer and teacher, she joined El Ballet de la Television Cubana under the direction of Christy Dominguez.
In 2003, Alfonso moved to Madrid in search of a higher education and graduated with Honours in Business Management.
